Wanted to get people's opinions on part installations.
With the bonus order, I have 3 grade 9 racing shafts and they will probably be maxed by next event, I just was wondering what people prioritize in terms of stats?
Obviously Gas/ECU is going to be the most important, gotta be efficient, but what parts do you prioritize next? Acceleration? Speed? Handling? Just wanted to get some input, thanks guys!

Well for me, I try to prefer Handling over everything, especially Speed. The reason for that is because if your car doesn't have enough Handling power, it'll slow down when you try to execute corners at high speeds. If the Speed and Handling are almost equal, I try to make sure that Handling is always above it.It's usually better to have quick cornering rather than high speed straightaways.
Acceleration is my 2nd priority. Quick Rocket Starts is what makes or breaks a race. Opponents like The Emperor can't be defeated easily if your car doesn't have high acceleration. Acceleration also helps getting to high speeds faster when exiting corners so I try to get high acceleration for my cars.

That's what I thought at first, but wanted to see how everyone else thinks. I always did acceleration first then handling, because if you slowed down if the handling wasn't that great, at least acceleration will get you back to top speed faster out of a corner.

Not necessarily. If your speed significantly drops in a corner and your opponent is power housing through the corner, Acceleration can't save you the moment you exit the corner. If you take the Daily Events for example, the Tire event has every car with super high Handling. Every time they use a Nitrous Tank and enter a corner at high speed, they lose less speed than a car with super high Acceleration or Speed does. I believe that Handling is your make or break factor, especially in Time Attack events

Interesting, the only reason I ask is because now that I have multiple grade 9 parts, would you pick two Racing Shafts, two Suspensions, would you do so or pick one of each?

Same, but it would be interesting to test, if I have the energy and gas, I'll post my findings

Weird...it seems only I that focusing on speed and acceleration part rather than handling, because most opponent I faced tend to do faster in straight.
Or maybe because I'm craving for more power on straights (since I do believe my exit line was somewhat good), since I watch the Unlim 500+.

I always focused on Speed and Handling, but favored Handling.

The best thing to do I would say is handling because if you are lacking in speed on straights you can just use nos.

I found this is too general. Even if I were you having 3 grade 9 racing shafts, doesn't mean I will maxed them out asap. Why would I spend my money so much while I can upgrade my 2 grade 11 Transmissions and maxed it out and use those shafts as the material for upgrading? If I would, does this upgrade worth for the next day? If no, I should switch my priority list. Does your car need a proper handling? If yes, how high the differences between the handling and speed that you want? Does this differences help you out? If yes, go with 'Handling' as the priority list and then upgrade 'Speed'. Does your car need a great 'Rocket Start'? If yes, go upgrade your 'Acceleration'. Does your car need a most efficient part? If yes, go upgrade your ECU. Can I race more than 8 times with a fully enhanced ECU (e.g: Grade 11 ECU) on this car if the tank is fully refilled without paying S/L tanks? If no, you may continue to do so or switch to a more fuel-efficient car and also supports the grade of the ECU you have. Anyway, my rough priority list is: - Handling -> If my car scraping so often, I would go enhance it.
- Speed -> If my car lacks at recovery and considering the track layout, I go with this.
- Nitrous -> Do I still win with 2 nitrous used toward a rival without nitrous on a race?
- Acceleration -> If I can challenge weaker members/challenge, why not? I could save my coins for others.
- ECU -> If I still have maxed out ECU leftovers, why not choose the car that supports this leftover's grade?
I'm not sure whether this is my opinion or not but at least this is what I think regarding to your question.

I guess that would be up to me if I wanted to balance out all the cars stats or focus on one stat or another. I don't know if there is a proper speed:handling ratio and I'll just have to test it out when TA comes around. I'm currently running max grade 13 parts (with the exception of a max grade 12 transmission that I'm working on upgrading to 13) with max grade 9 Racing Shaft and max grade 9 suspension. Since all my highest parts are maxed, I'm going to start working on a second set of shafts, turbos, and suspension to put on other cars until grade 10s come out.
