The Time Attack Event has now ended, and of all good things at least you've replenished enough resources you've spent in the MF Ghost Anime Collab.
I wish the next event happening this christmas would allow me to catch a break with this, but NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! We've already witnessed the successor collab of Initial D, MF Ghost, and now we are going back in time to what succeeded MF Ghost.
Starting with the first Boss Battle Event, we are featuring the Redsuns RX-7, Emperor's EVO III, and the Speed Stars S13. The highlight of this event is the plain old Fujiwara Tofu Shop AE86, which is now an 8-star much like Kanata's GT86 previously. When it airs I'll see how big was the collab and if it was big, like say 5 events, then I'll probably get one, but if not, then I'll pass and go after whatever Initial D cars I like.

With the first event of the Initial D 10th Special Underway, alot of things would unravel.
Firstly when you log in you'll be presented with an Initial D version of Namiko.
Secondly, the Sound Ver. AE86 which previously featured back in the collab is now available to get via challenge missions. Since you must use it throughout the collab in terms of the second set of challenge missions, if you previously owned it stemming from the Initial D collab back in 2017, you should complete them without a hitch.
Thirdly, The 8-star AE86 you see in the first event is actually not the only one. A Project.D variant is due to appear in the next events happening February. Unfortunately, those wanting the PD86 had little to no planning margin to fight for it, as there are only two events so far to help support it. But ah well that's for a later post.
Lastly for the Boss Battle Event; Top 3000 gives you Keisuke's stock FD3S, Top 5000 gives you Kyoichi's Evo III, and Top 10000 gives you Iketani's S13, which could also be obtained as a rare drop. If you have some previous Initial D cars and companions from the previous Initial D events (not including the original touch versions), you'll get bonus points this way. If you don't, just fetch yourself a Subaru Legacy from the exchange. But for bigger bonuses just use Iketani's S15 and Kyoichi's Evo III. I'll probably pass this event and go after Wataru's AE86 in the next round.

Welp, so much for the first Initial D Boss Battle Event of 2024, and congrats to those that got Keisuke's FD3S, Kyoichi's Evo III and Iketani's S13 whether it's a rare drop or not.
The second round of the Initial D 2024 collab which is a Battle Royale will be underway the following night, consisting of Sakamoto's Cappucino, Kai's MR2, and Wataru's AE86.

The second round of the Initial D 10th Special is now underway. Sakamoto's Cappucino is for Top 3000 in its 7-star base. Kai's MR2 is for Top 5000 in its 7-star base, and Wataru's AE86 is either obtained by placing in the Top 10000 or as a rare drop if you take down any available Initial D Opponent including Wataru Akiyama.
There isn't much to say about the Legacy being available in the point exchange, but if you have gotten the Initial D version of Toko from the previous Boss Battle Event, she is doable in terms of giving you bonus points alongside previous Project D companions you have since 2022 and the Initial D Sound Version cars you have since 2017. But for those that want Big Bonuses, use Kai's MR2 as well as Wataru's AE86 if you got it as a rare drop.
I'll just go for Wataru's AE86 in this event regardless of whether I got it as a rare drop or not. To do this, I'll use my spare Legacy I have built since 2022 alongside an Initial D Toko companion I got from the previous Boss Battle Event. Plus some daily GOLD Orders to give me enough gas tanks to make this grind helpful.
Speaking of GOLD, a new GOLD Order has released containing the previous Initial D Original Touch cars that can now be used as Bonus Points cars. As good as they could be a bonus points cars, I personally wouldn't go for that GOLD Order as it is only for those wanting to do RTB races even despite the Soaring Wings PD86 was so appealing.

The Initial D 10th Special Battle Royale Event is now over as of this morning. Congrats again to those that got Wataru's AE86, Kai's MR2, and Sakamoto's Cappucino. Because I didn't earn much as rare drops, I ended up getting it at above Top 7500 after spending close to 34 gas tanks (17L + 17S). Good thing I purchased some daily L gas tanks not only just in case the grind for Wataru's AE86 becomes extreme, but also for one event or two containing the PD86.
Happening tomorrow night will be a Team Battle Royale Event, featuring Itsuki's AE85 and Ryosuke's FC3S.

OKay all, that's it for the Initial D 10th Special Team Battle Royale Event, and huge shoutout to those that got Ryosuke's FC3S and Itsuki's AE85.
Now for the final half of the Initial D 10th Special collab, which starting with a Boss Battle Event, it features Shinigami's R32, God Foot's R34 and God Hand's S2000. The spotlight reward for that half is the 8-star PD86, which oh boy.....
A 5-hour maintenance is happening tonight so please get all your rewards beforehand before they expire.

Now. The second half of the Initial D 10th Special Collab is now underway. Shinigami's R32 is Top 3000 in its 7-star base. God Foot's R34 is for Top 5000 in its 7-star base as well and God Arm's S2000 is for Top 10000 in its 6-star base. It can also be obtained as a rare drop at some point during the event.
The 8-star PD 86 is obtainable as a chance ticket car, and you get it you have to place in the Top 3000, which I'm sorry, but that's how far you have to go if you really wanted the new PD86. Same goes for the 3-car Battle Event happening next.
For this second round of the Initial D Collab, a Ford Focus is available or any exchangers. For bigger bonuses, just use God Arm's S2000, God Foot's R34 and last but not least the PDFC which, like the PDFD, is obtained from the GOLD Spirits Order.
As much as I wanted the 8-star PD86, as it is very tempting to have, after much deliberation, I decided to save up to go after Shinji's AE86, which is further confirmed to appear in the next event according to the game's encyclopedia.

So much for the second Initial D 10th Special Boss Battle Event, and congrats to those that got Shinigami's R32, God Foot's R34 and God Arm's S2000 which you got as a rare drop.
Now for the final event of the Initial D 10th Special Collaboration; a 3-car Battle Event. The top features of the time were Bunta's Impreza, Shinji's AE86 and Go Hojo's NSX.
There's a 5-hour maintenance happening tonight, which would likely fix an issue in regards to Facebook avatars. Regardless, now it's the time to get all your rewards before it happens.

Man, I've been busy grinding since yesterday that I didn't have time to admit what the last event offers. Anyway, now it's time for me to introduce it.
Bunta's Impreza is for Top 3000 in its 7-star base. Shinji's AE86 is for Top 5000 also in its 7-star base, and Go Hojo's NSX is either for Top 10000 in its 6-star base, or could be obtained as a rare drop at any point during your progression. This event will be your last opportunity to fight for the 10th Special PD86 so good luck and god speed to you all.
Exchangers get a Ford Focus RS if they do not have any Sound Ver. Initial D car in their possession. But for bigger bonuses, just use Shinji's AE86 as well as Go Hojo's NSX, which considering I just got several as rare drops, I will start using it after I get all SPIRITS tickets featured in this event.
I wouldn't care if I did get Bunta's Impreza as it does provide a chance ticket for the PD86, but considering there's no guarantee the tickets would give me, then my safest and best bet would be Shinji's AE86 at Top 5000. This will be the first occasion that I scored a high ranking in a 3-car battle event.
