Ahhh.... What an exhausting day for the D1GP 2023 Battle Royale Event now being over, concluding the D1GP 2023 saga. Big cheers to those that got the Vertex Lexus RCV, Shibatire's Infiniti Q60 and GR86 and the N-Style GR86 as a last opportunity. At least I'm happy I walked away with the Shibatire GR86 on the late night before the event ended. But of course I consumed that many gas tanks like around 53 (19L + 34S); most of which were aimed at securing the rank (especially taking on opponents that score lots of points in an event I'm out of gas), while others were used as compensations for the losses I've suffered during the grind. I did manage to use a Shibatire GR86 near the end, after getting several as rare drops. Now that it's over I can build a new RTB weapon using the extra Shibatire GR86s I got as rare drops.
Here's a story to tell you. Back when Drift Spirits celebrated its 5th birthday, they released an R35 themed event with the HS MY17 Shiranui R35 being the highlight prize. It now seems as though they're doing it again, roughly 5 years later. While we've already seen the Shiranui R35 for years, they're introducing a couple more this time around, Anubis (8-star) and Razzle Dazzle (7-star). Other features of this Boss Battle Event include a Nissan Skyline Coupe 350GT (which is an Infiniti G35 from where I am now), and the HS Nissan GT-R50, which is interesting because it's the first occasion that Drift Spirits decided to make a HS Variant of such a rare car.
As we prepare for what's gonna happen there's a 5-hour maintenance coming right up, so please clear out all your rewards you're gonna get out of the event before they expire.

It's time to air the prelude to the 10th Anniversary of Drift Spirits folks. Starting with the new MY17 Anubis R35, it's a chance-ticket exclusive like these 8-star cars in recent events, and just like before, Top 3000 is your latest best if you ever wanted a ticket for one. Speaking of Top 3000, you'll also earn a Razzle Dazzle R35 if you secure your spot there. The other ranking rewards you deserve are the Rosso Rubino Nissan GT-R50, which is Top 5000 in its 7-star base, and the Nissan Skyline Coupe 350GT, which is not only in Top 10,000 in its 5-star base, but also obtainable as a rare drop if you take down a super-focused boss, which your best case scenario would be to do so after you finish the event story.
As part of the prelude of the 10th Anniversary, a 25GT ER34 2-Door will be an exchange car. It can also be obtained in the "Prelude to 10th Anniversary" ticket order, giving you not only the XD RX-8 but also the previous Anniversary cars, ranging from the first ever 3rd Anniversary R33 to the latest 8th Anniversary FK8.
If you have any of these spare Anniversary cars in your possession, you could use them as bonus points. For bigger bonuses however, just own yourself a Rosso Rubino Nissan GT-R50 and the Skyline Coupe 350GT if you got one as a rare drop. I'll be using a spare 7th Anniversary RX-7 that I have from the 9th Anniversary campaign as hopefully that alone would suffice the majority of the fight for Top 5000 for that new Nissan GT-R50.

Man, I've been so busy grinding ever since the midway ranking was lifted that I didn't have time to update how things have been on the forums. But just this morning, we had just finished watching the prelude of the 10th Anniversary Boss Battle Event, and shoutout to those that scored this event's characters like the HS MY17 R35 (Anubis and Razzle Dazzle), Rosso Rubino Nissan GT-R50, and the Skyline Coupe 350GT. I thought I should've worked on the 7th Anniversary RX-7 throughout the grind, but that alone wasn't enough as it turns out, as I turned to some Pac-Man cars I want to get rid of, a BMW Z4, and some bonus cars like the 8th Anniversary FK8 and the Skyline Coupe 350GT on the last day of the event. In the process of using that many cars, I spent up to 104 gas tanks (44L + 60S), and from well over 999 nitrous tanks down to at least 430. Never have I spent that amount when going for Top 5000 as some of which was to compensate for one day when I lost so many daily gas tanks I acquired because I overslept that day. Further, the fact that people went ballistic about going for the new R35s in this event is what made this kind of competition difficult to handle, which ended up compelling me to sacrifice all these gas tanks I have stored. Ah well, at least that was a major payoff for me as now the Rosso Rubino Nissan GT-R50 is in my hands.
Tomorrow night, a Time Attack event will commence, which will give people time to refuel after all that new HS R35 hype; myself included. The XD Integra DC2 will be the highlighted prize for this event. Considering I already got it from the HS EVO VIII Battle Royale Event, I'll probably pass this one and focus on replenishing.
UPDATED 10/12/2023: 30 minutes into the event, there is an emergency maintenace underway with the intent to fix a bug that prevents players from entering certain TA leagues. Now that the issue was fixed, let's dive into the event. EX-1 for this event features Anniversary cars, and even non-Anniversary cars like the Nismo R35s, Aventador SVJ and even the Porsche 918 will also be admitted. Nothing much to say about that, but there is also a Halloween ticket order giving you certain HS cars like the Chaser, 911 Turbo and the Celica. Too bad it didn't feature the "Alice Ayako" companion. If she was there, even in the ticket order or GOLD Order, I would've went for her instead. She initially appeared at the 2020 halloween Gold Order, but at the time, I didn't have enough GOLD to nab her. So I guess I'll just wait till next time she reappears.

The Time Attack Event is now over, which I cannot believe it ended after several days passed. We now have one more event before Drift Spirits celebrates its 10th Anniversary, and it's a Battle Royale. Now this event will be special as it will feature the Halloween counterparts of some HS Cars like the GR86 Cruel Cat, Blackswan Reboot Evo IX, and the Carbuncle Civic FK8.

The final event before Drift Spirits' 10th Anniversay has now begun. For those wanting the Halloween Cruel Cat GR86, Top 3000 must be your destination for it to be yours. If you didn't fight hard for it, you'll end up getting a Pumpkin Swan Evo IX at Top 5000, or the Candy Carbuncle Civic FK8 at Top 10,000. Yes, you may get the Candy Carbuncle Civic as a rare drop once you take down a racer named Toko, so hopefully that will help build up your fight.
This event will be the last opportunity to fight for the Anubis MY17 R35. Whatever anniversary car you have like the 3rd Anniversary R33 up till the 8th Anniversary FK8 will give you bonus points in this event. Those that don't must obtain a 2-Door ER34 from the exchange. But if you want something more, like I said, the Carbuncle Civic FK8 will do you some more good, or the Pumpkin Swan EVO IX if the FK8 wasn't enough.
As much as I wanted the Halloween GR86, I would rather prepare myself for the game's 10th Anniversary. Further, the looks on that especially when comparing it to the Cruel Cat GR86 were not to my liking. So I'll walk away with the Carbuncle Civic instead by specifically nabbing it as a rare drop.
As a sidenote this Friday, a livestream featuring Tsukamoto Nanami will air, as that may tease answers as to what's gonna happen when Drift Spirits turns 10 years old.
